Saint Basketball
Saint Stephen’s and Saint Agnes school boys varsity basketball is very much a dark horse this year. With the loss of key players like Jack Murphy, Cole Cosby, and Bryson Wilson, it looked like they were going to have a hard time replacing those departing seniors. However, they were able to add some new key players to the roster. The first player, Andrew Ross, is a 6’3” freshman guard that’s able to not only shoot the ball, but able to get into the lane and score. In the scrimmage against Gonzaga, he recorded 18 points with two made 3 point field goals. The second player, Colin Pollock, is a junior. The 6’8” forward is strong going to the hoop and can also hit outside shots as well. SSSAS was also able to keep Riley Jacobs another year. He is another 6’8” junior that is a defensive presence at center and is dominant down low in the paint. Seniors Kyan Bowman and Blake Neal will need to be leaders for this young varsity team this year.
